Responsibilities
Hiring: SIEM/MDR Infrastructure Specialist Support
We are hiring a SIEM/MDR Infrastructure Specialist Support for our client in Malaysia.
Location: Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia
Nationality: Malaysian Only
Salary: Up to RM10,500
Role: Combined L1 Infrastructure Support
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the health and availability of SIEM and MDR platform infrastructure.
- Onboard new log sources and configure log collection, parsing and normalization.
- Troubleshoot log source connectivity and log stoppage issues.
- Monitor connectors and collectors and raise tickets for failures.
- Verify daily automated backups and handle backup failures.
- Configure health monitoring parameters and thresholds.
- Perform data/configuration recovery when required.
- Support license verification and capacity tracking for ingested logs.
- Apply approved changes to SIEM rules, reports and dashboards.
- Support SIEM/MDR platform patching and version compliance.
- Prepare shift handover and daily infrastructure status reports.
- Escalate infrastructure/platform issues according to the escalation matrix.
