We are looking for a Class 2 Steam Engineer to join our site operations team and play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our facility and steam systems.

Job: Class 2 Steam Engineer

Location: Singapore, West

Salary: Competitive Market Rate

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and smooth operation of the facility, steam system and auxiliaries
• Monitor plant performance through control systems, BMS and DCS
• Conduct regular field inspections and equipment checks
• Lead and supervise boiler and plant operators
• Monitor steam pressure, temperature and operating parameters
• Troubleshoot plant upsets and equipment malfunctions
• Analyse plant and steam operations data and identify opportunities for optimisation
• Develop and implement SOPs for plant operations and maintenance
• Ensure maintenance activities are properly tracked through CMMS
• Identify operational and safety hazards and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements
• Support initiatives to improve plant efficiency and reduce operating costs

Requirements

• Minimum Class 2 Steam Engineer, registered with MOM
• Familiarity with FMEA, HAZOP and Job Hazard Analysis
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Innovative and proactive approach to plant operations
• Registered First Aid certification is an added advantage
