Energy Analyst

Location: Singapore

Cute Green Ventures Pte. Ltd. operates in the solar and renewable energy sector, delivering solar PV solutions for residential and commercial applications, together with related energy systems and maintenance support.

We are hiring an Energy Analyst to support the assessment and planning of solar energy projects. This role combines data analysis, energy calculations, project information review, and preparation of practical findings that can support technical and commercial decisions.

What You Will Work On

• Review electricity consumption, generation and other energy-related data to identify usage patterns and potential areas for improvement.
• Analyse site information and energy requirements for solar PV projects.
• Assist with estimating solar generation, energy savings and project performance using available technical and operational data.
• Prepare spreadsheets, calculations, charts and reports for internal review and client discussions.
• Compare actual system performance against expected generation and highlight significant variances.
• Support feasibility assessments by reviewing site conditions, historical energy data and project assumptions.
• Work with project and technical personnel to gather information required for energy studies and proposals.
• Help maintain accurate records of project data, assumptions, calculations and analysis results.
• Conduct basic research on electricity consumption, renewable energy developments and relevant market information.
• Assist with preparing clear summaries and recommendations based on the analysis carried out.

Skills and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Energy, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• Experience in energy analysis, solar PV, engineering analysis or a related field will be useful.
• Comfortable working with Excel or similar spreadsheet and data-analysis tools.
• Able to work with numerical information carefully and identify inconsistencies in data.
• Basic understanding of electricity, energy consumption and renewable energy concepts.
• Good written and spoken English, with the ability to present technical information in a straightforward manner.
• Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable handling several project-related tasks.
• Able to work independently while coordinating with colleagues on project requirements.

Work Environment

The position is based in Singapore and involves a mix of analytical work, project coordination and interaction with colleagues involved in solar energy projects. The role would suit someone who enjoys working with numbers and technical information and wants practical exposure to renewable energy projects.
