Role Description The Stem AI Educator will design and deliver engaging STEM and AI learning experiences for students, professionals, and industry partners. This on-site role, based in Kuala Lumpur, involves planning curriculum, creating instructional materials, and facilitating hands-on workshops and labs that use XR and AI tools. The educator will assess learning outcomes, provide feedback, and adapt teaching approaches to different learner profiles and skill levels. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with COEXRT-AI researchers and technical teams, integrating current industry practices into course content, and supporting community outreach programs that promote STEM and AI literacy. The role also includes mentoring learners, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of STEM and AI developments, and contributing to continuous improvement of the center’s educational offerings.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in STEM disciplines (e.g., computer science, engineering, mathematics) and applied AI concepts, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Experience in curriculum design, instructional planning, and delivering in-person training, workshops, or classroom-based education.
• Ability to use educational technologies and lab tools, including XR platforms or simulation environments, to create interactive learning experiences.
• Skills in learner assessment, feedback, and differentiated instruction to support diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated interest in innovation, digital transformation, and industry-relevant education, preferably with exposure to AI or XR projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant STEM, education, or technology field; teaching or training certifications are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur and engage with local communities, academic partners, and industry stakeholders.
