Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and supervise construction projects from commencement to completion.
  • Read, interpret and review architectural, structural, civil and M&E drawings.
  • Coordinate drawings and technical information between consultants, contractors, subcontractors and site teams.
  • Identify discrepancies, clashes and construction issues from drawings and coordinate necessary revisions.
  • Monitor project progress against programme, including CPM/project schedules.
  • Manage project cost, materials, manpower and subcontractors.
  • Conduct site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants and authorities.
  • Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
  • Review method statements, shop drawings, material submissions and technical documents.
  • Monitor site workmanship and resolve technical/construction problems.
  • Prepare progress reports and update management/client on project status.
  • Coordinate project handover, testing, commissioning and defects rectification.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and relevant Malaysian regulations.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Building, M&E Engineering or related field.
  • Typically 3-6 years of construction/project experience, depending on seniority.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of architectural, structural and M&E drawings is an advantage.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD; BIM/Revit experience is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and site procedures.
  • Experience managing contractors, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Able to manage project schedules, costs and documentation.
  • Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to travel to construction sites when required.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
