About the Roles

We are seeking an NPI Engineer to join a semiconductor manufacturing environment located in Loyang, working on a permanent basis with a standard Mon–Fri, 8am–5.30pm schedule. This opportunity offers a competitive base salary of $3,000–$3,800 per month, along with AWS and variable bonus (VB), and focuses on driving new product introduction activities from prototype development through to full production readiness while working closely with cross-functional and customer teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and coordinate NPI projects from prototype phase through to production release readiness
• Evaluate customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements to ensure manufacturability
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify technical details, align timelines, and confirm feasibility
• Develop and maintain NPI documentation, including process flows, work instructions, BOMs, routing, and inspection requirements
• Coordinate prototype builds, trial runs, first article inspections, and sample submissions
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Purchasing teams to resolve technical and process-related issues
• Support engineering change control activities and ensure effective implementation of approved changes
• Track project progress, identify risks or delays, and escalate issues when necessary
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, cost, delivery, and overall efficiency
• Support additional project-related tasks at Seletar, including cleanroom-related activities when required

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline
• 1–3 years of experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or project engineering roles
• Experience in precision engineering, CNC machining, aerospace, semiconductor, or similar manufacturing environments is an advantage
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, process planning, tooling, fixtures, and inspection requirements
• Experience with First Article Inspection, engineering change control, and production documentation is an advantage
• Knowledge of GD&T and CMM inspection will be an added advantage
• Exposure to cleanroom environments is an advantage
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in Loyang and supporting ad hoc tasks at Seletar when required
