Job Description
Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, including AHU, FCU, split units and related equipment.
- Carry out installation of refrigerant piping, chilled-water piping, drainage piping, ductwork and associated components according to drawings and site requirements.
- Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of ACMV equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults, including compressors, motors, pumps, control panels, thermostats, sensors and related components.
- Carry out refrigerant charging, pressure testing, vacuuming, leak testing and system commissioning where required.
- Read and understand technical drawings, equipment manuals and work instructions and carry out works according to project specifications.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, subcontractors and other trades to complete installation and maintenance works according to the project schedule.
- Follow all WSH requirements, risk assessments, safe work procedures and site safety regulations while carrying out work.
- Maintain tools and equipment properly and prepare service reports, maintenance records and work completion reports when required.
- Perform other ACMV, air-conditioning and refrigeration-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
