Location:
Kovan / Marine Parade / Yishun (branch assignment based on business needs; Tampines branch opening soon)

About Edify Plus
Edify Plus is a secondary school tutoring centre in Singapore specialising in E-Maths, A-Maths, and Combined Science for Sec 1–4 students, closely aligned to the MOE/SEAB O-Level syllabus. We run small, high-engagement classes and maintain a proprietary "Edify Style" content library of notes, worksheets, and worked solutions built specifically for our students.
The Role
We're looking for a full-time tutor to take ownership of a regular weekly class load and grow into a dependable second pillar of instruction alongside our founder-led teaching. This is not a warm-body seat-filler role — we need someone who can teach the syllabus with rigour, follow our house content standards, and eventually take on curriculum and student-progress responsibilities independently.
Key Responsibilities
Teach scheduled weekly classes in E-Maths, A-Maths, and/or Pure/Combined Science Chemistry/Physics/Biology (Sec 1–4), following Edify Plus's syllabus pacing and "Edify Style" materials
Prepare and mark student worksheets, homework, and topical tests; give clear, actionable feedback
Track individual student progress and flag students who are falling behind or need differentiated support
Contribute to and help maintain the internal content library (notes, worksheets, worked solutions) — following existing formatting standards (structured Example + Practice pairs, clean stacked fractions/equations, no shortcuts on rigour)
Communicate with parents on student progress during parent-teacher touchpoints
Cover classes across branches as needed (Kovan, Marine Parade, Yishun, and the upcoming Tampines branch)
Support exam-season intensives and revision workshops
Uphold classroom standards and pastoral care consistent with the centre's teaching philosophy
Requirements
Strong command of O-Level Maths/Science; degree in a related field preferred but not mandatory if track record is strong
Prior tutoring or teaching experience, ideally at secondary level
Able to commit to a full weekly class schedule with reliability — this role exists to reduce single-point-of-failure risk on class coverage
Comfortable teaching to a defined house style rather than freelancing their own materials
Clear communicator — with students, parents, and the rest of the team
Based in or able to reliably commute to North-East/East Singapore
