Responsibilities
Verify and inspect all incoming materials flagged for inspection to ensure compliance with quality standards
Review Supplier’s First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) and inspect First Articles according to Customer requirements
Sign off on FAI Cover Sheet and upload Supplier’s FAIR into AGILE promptly after completing FA inspection and FAIR review
Release parts in ORACLE Receiving Transaction after completing inspection for both FAI-flagged and Receiving Inspection-flagged parts
Conduct purge and containment activities for Work In Progress (WIP) or inventory showing potential or observed nonconformance trends
Participate in bi-weekly Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to verify, investigate, contain, and purge Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
Inspect and review Returned Material Authorization (RMA) nonconforming parts from suppliers and update records in AGILE
Coordinate with vendors to ensure equipment and tools are calibrated and order necessary parts for repairs
Perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration of Testing, Measuring, and Monitoring Equipment (TMME)
Collaborate daily with Quality Coordinator to support quality assurance activities
Execute additional duties assigned by Quality Engineers and Quality Manager
Required competencies and certifications
Certificate or Nitec in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control inspection
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for inspection purposes
Skill in handling measuring instruments and performing calibration
Experience working in a cleanroom environment
