Role : Production Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our machining workshop operations, optimize manufacturing processes, drive team performance, and ensure smooth production delivery.

Working Hours & Schedule:

• Time: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Schedule: 5.5-Day Work Week

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Scheduling & Control: Coordinate workshop production scheduling and monitor progress to guarantee on-time order delivery and effective cost control.
• Quality & Process Optimization: Oversee product quality, optimize manufacturing processes, manage first-article inspection (FAI), and handle production abnormalities to minimize defect and scrap rates.
• Equipment Management: Manage machine tools, cutting tools, and tooling equipment, enforcing routine maintenance to maximize equipment utilization.
• Team Leadership & Training: Handle staff rostering, training, and performance evaluations to build a stable and high-performing production team.
• Safety & 5S Standards: Enforce on-site 5S and safety management protocols, proactively identify hazards, and maintain a zero-accident workplace.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with various departments to drive lean manufacturing improvements and complete other tasks assigned by upper management.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
