Job Purpose & Overview

The General Manager – Machining Division is responsible for leading the overall performance, strategy, and operational excellence of the Machining Division across manufacturing facilities in Malaysia and Singapore. This role provides executive leadership to ensure operational efficiency, cost competitiveness, quality standards, and multi-site manufacturing scalability across aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and high-precision industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site manufacturing operations across Malaysia and Singapore to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) targets.
• Execute long-term strategic roadmaps, oversee divisional P&L, operational budgets, and capital investments.
• Oversee CNC precision machining, process engineering, capacity planning, and Lean / Six Sigma continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure strict adherence to customer quality specifications, aerospace/semiconductor regulatory standards, and internal QMS controls.
• Interface with key customers and commercial teams on technical capabilities, costing strategies, and new program launches.
• Build, mentor, and align senior plant leadership teams across regional sites.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (MBA/Postgraduate is an advantage).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing or precision engineering.
• At least 8–10 years in senior leadership roles overseeing precision machining operations.
• Proven track record managing multi-site regional manufacturing plants.
• Deep technical expertise in CNC machining within aerospace, semiconductor, or high-precision equipment sectors.

Pay: RM35,000.00 - RM40,000.00 per month
