Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly organized, responsible, and proactive Business Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of Margaret Market. This role will work closely with management, tenants, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations and timely execution of operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily business and operational activities of Margaret Market.
  • Coordinate with tenants, vendors, contractors, service providers, and external partners.
  • Act as a key point of contact for tenant operational matters and requests.
  • Monitor operational issues and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Assist management with operational planning and implementation.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, cleaning, facilities, supplies, and other operational requirements.
  • Assist with procurement, quotations, vendor coordination, and service arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate operational records, documents, and reports.
  • Support the planning and execution of events and marketplace activities from an operational perspective.
  • Coordinate logistics, schedules, suppliers, and on-site requirements for events and activations.
  • Assist with administrative and finance-related matters, including invoices, claims, and payment follow-ups.
  • Ensure relevant operational procedures and requirements are communicated to tenants and stakeholders.
  • Identify areas where operational processes can be improved and recommend practical solutions.
  • Prepare regular operational updates and reports for management.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and business initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in business operations, administration, property/marketplace management, retail, or a similar role is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up abilities.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proactive, practical, and solution-oriented.
  • Comfortable coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing operational requirements.

Pay: $3,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
