Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Technician to support and co-ordinate our ongoing cable and pipe laying projects.
Familiar with AcuBuy, DFF, Ariba, SAP Business Network, Streamline and Sesami
Coordinate and support ongoing cable and pipelaying projects from commencement to completion.
Procure and manage cable plans, Notice of Commencement of Excavation (NCE) documents, and telecommunication route plans.
Prepare, manage, and monitor regulatory submissions, including NCE applications and LTA Road Opening Applications(ROA), ensuring works commence within approved timelines.
Prepare project cost estimates, summaries of work performed (SWP), budgets, and work schedules to support project planning and reporting.
Prepare and submit as-built drawings to the relevant officers upon project completion, ensuring compliance with required as-built standards.
Monitor material balances and maintain the Master List to track overall claim status accurately.
Train new system users, assist with onboarding and set up user accounts as required.
Continuously assess system performance and effectiveness, recommending improvements where necessary.
Work closely with Procurement, Sales, Accounts,HR, and Project teams to ensure systems and processes meet departmental requirements.
Keep up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and advancements in systems and related technologies.
Able to communicate effectively with internal teams, external officers, and relevant authorities.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Experience or familiarity with cable and pipelaying projects will be an advantage.
