Job Description
- Prepare and check quantity take-off, measurements and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
- Prepare and evaluate progress claims, variation orders and payment certificates.
- Check and verify subcontractors’ claims and invoices.
- Monitor project expenses and ensure costs are within the approved budget.
- Prepare cost estimates and assist in tender and quotation processes.
- Maintain proper records of project costs, contracts, claims and related documents.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work completed is properly measured and recorded.
- Identify and report any cost issues, variations or potential financial risks.
- Liaise with Project Manager, site team, consultants, contractors and subcontractors on cost-related matters.
- Ensure all quantity surveying works comply with project requirements, contracts and company procedures.
- Prepare regular cost reports and provide updates to management.
- Perform any other duties related to Quantity Surveying as assigned by the management.
- To ensure all work carried out by subcontractor’s are in accordance to the requirement of main contractor and subcontracts
- To monitor on amendments and changes to the scope of work and conditions of contract, variation orders and extension of time
- To prepare and submit interim progress claim to client.
- To evaluate and prepare progress claims and final accounts from subcontractors
- To attend site meeting as and when required by project manager
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying
- Experience 2 - 3 years and Fresh graduates are encourage to apply
- Strong analytical, critical thinking skills and sound knowledge of construction
- Excellent negotiating, interpersonal skills and great networking abilities
- Ability to organize, plan and strategized
- Job Types : Full time on site
