Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing architectural design coordination across multiple projects during design, submission, tender, and construction stages
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve design, technical, and site-related issues
  • Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, and technical details to ensure compliance with project requirements and authority regulations
  • Support authority submissions, approvals, and coordination with relevant agencies
  • Monitor design progress, deliverables, and submission timelines in accordance with project master programmers
  • Ensure alignment between design intent, buildability, cost considerations, and construction sequencing
  • Attend technical meetings, coordination meetings, and site inspections to facilitate project progress and issue resolution
  • Track outstanding design and coordination matters and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely closure
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of design management systems, trackers, and workflow processes
  • Assist in mentoring and coordinating junior architectural team members where required
  • Liaise closely with project management and site teams to ensure smooth execution and coordination during construction

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture or equivalent recognised qualification
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in architectural coordination, design management, or project delivery within consultant or main contractor environment
  • Familiarity with authority submission processes and local regulatory requirements
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills in a dynamic project environment
  • Experience in large-scale and complex building projects will be an advantage
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders and concurrent project timelines
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, and Microsoft Office applications
