Job Description

We are looking for motivated individuals who are interested in building a career in F&B operations and management. No prior F&B experience is required. On-the-job training will be provided

.

The successful candidate will receive hands-on training in different areas of outlet operations and progressively take on supervisory and management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the F&B outlet.
• Learn and handle different areas of outlet operations, including customer service, cashiering and food operations.
• Assist in supervising and coordinating outlet staff.
• Assist with staff roster planning and manpower deployment.
• Monitor service standards, food quality, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Handle customer enquiries and feedback.
• Assist with stock control, inventory, ordering and wastage monitoring.
• Support opening and closing duties.
• Assist in training and guiding staff.
• Ensure Company policies, SOPs and operational standards are followed.
• Prepare basic operational reports and updates to Management.
• Use the Company's omputerised systems for operational and administrative matters.
• Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Progressively take on greater supervisory and outlet management responsibilities.
• Perform other duties required for the smooth running of the outlet.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• No prior F&B experience required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Must be computer literate.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn and be hands-on in outlet operations.
• Able to work in a fast-paced F&B environment.
• Able to work 6 days per week on a rotating roster.
• Must be able to work weekends and Public Holidays.
• Willing to take on supervisory responsibilities and develop towards an outlet management role.

The successful candidate will receive hands-on training and exposure to F&B operations, staff supervision and outlet management, with opportunities to progress into supervisory and management positions based on performance and business requirements.
Golden Cafe was established in 1998, starting its business from Food and Beverages, and eventually acquiring couple of coffeeshops and food court over the decade, and intend to further expand its business in the upcoming years with its immense resources

Currently there are two operating outlet located at Craig Road (Tanjong Pagar) and Katong Shopping Centre, and a Food Factory at Tua Bay Walk. Golden Cafe is a zi char restaurant, which cater home-style cuisine with a vast range of choices and not to mention wallet-friendly options for all customers!
