Assistant Marketing Manager (Digital & Growth)

We are looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager (Digital & Growth) to join our growing marketing team. This is a hands-on role covering integrated campaigns, growth experimentation, learner acquisition, partnerships, EDM, WhatsApp automation, and marketing project management.

Direct EdTech experience is a mandatory requirement . We are specifically looking for candidates who have previously worked in marketing for an EdTech company, digital learning platform, online education provider, or technology-enabled learning business.

Candidates with only general digital marketing, traditional education, training, agency, SaaS, or other non-EdTech experience will not be considered.

What you'll do

Integrated Campaigns & Growth

• Plan and execute integrated B2C and B2B marketing campaigns from brief to completion.
• Manage the marketing calendar and ensure campaigns, events, content, and deliverables stay on track.
• Monitor campaign performance and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Develop and run structured growth experiments across the acquisition and conversion funnel.
• Identify opportunities to improve lead generation, learner conversion, enrolment, and revenue.

Partnerships & Communications

• Support Public Relations and external communications across marketing campaigns.
• Identify and develop partnerships within the EdTech, education, technology, and corporate learning ecosystem.
• Manage partner relationships and turn opportunities into measurable activations.

Project Management

• Own marketing project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with Sales, Product/UX, agencies, influencers, event partners, and external vendors.
• Provide regular project updates and proactively flag risks.

EDM & Customer Nurturing

• Manage newsletters, lead-nurture sequences, event follow-ups, and course communications.
• Segment audiences based on B2B/B2C, learner profile, course interest, lead source, and lifecycle stage.
• Monitor open, click-through, and conversion rates and optimise campaigns accordingly.

WhatsApp Automation

• Manage WhatsApp Business API and automated customer communication flows.
• Build lead capture, appointment reminder, FAQ, and broadcast workflows.
• Route warm leads to the appropriate salesperson and optimise flows based on conversion data.

Reporting

• Maintain campaign and project dashboards.
• Report on lead volume, conversion, enrolment, and revenue performance.
• Identify underperforming campaigns and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

Mandatory: Direct EdTech Industry Experience

• 4–6 years of marketing experience, including direct hands-on experience within an EdTech, digital learning, online education, or technology-enabled education company.
• Experience marketing digital learning products, online courses, learning platforms, or technology-enabled training programmes.
• Demonstrable experience with learner acquisition, lead generation, course enrolment, platform adoption, or revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of digital customer/learner acquisition and conversion funnels.
• Experience with integrated digital marketing campaigns and performance reporting.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Education, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience in Singapore's EdTech market.
• Experience with B2B corporate learning and B2C learner acquisition.
• Experience marketing AI, technology, professional upskilling, or digital skills products.
• CRM experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar.
• Experience with Zapier, Make, or other no-code automation tools.
• Familiarity with SkillsFuture or government-supported training programmes.
