Summary

Plan and coordinate warehouse operations at distribution for manufacturing plants.

Job Description

1) Working closely with client, suppliers and transport companies.

2) Planning the delivery and dispatch of goods.

3) Monitoring and setting aside storage space.

4) Tracking stock levels using computer programs.

5) Making sure stock is stored correctly and safety, for example chemicals or food.

6) Planning workload for warehouse staff.

7) Organizing recruitment and staff training.

8) You would also be responsible for security arrangements at the warehouse, and scheduling the maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment.

9) Shall assign the responsibility and authority:

a. Ensuring the quality management system conforms to the requirements the International Standard.

b. Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs.

c. Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and determine/select opportunities for improvement and implement any necessary actions to meet customer requirements and update top management.

d. Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.

e. Ensuring the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.

A. No of persons supervised

i. Executive, Superintendent, Supervisor, Storekeeper, Forklift driver, Clerk.

Requirements

A. Education

- Degree in Supply Chain / Logistic or any related field.

B. Experience (Years)

- At least 5 years experience in warehouse and distribution operations.

C. Special requirements (Knowledge / Training).

- Statistical training.

- Inventory management.

- Logistic management.

- Planning in general.

- Effective communication.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
