Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a portfolio of clients and providing outsourced accounting and fund administration services.

Outsourced Accounting

• Handle full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients.
• Perform bookkeeping and maintain accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documents for audit and tax purposes.
• Assist in GST preparation and filing.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents, banks and other relevant parties.
• Ensure accounting records and reports are completed accurately and within deadlines.

Fund Administration

• Handle accounting and administration for investment funds and fund-related entities.
• Maintain fund accounting records and transaction schedules.
• Record investment transactions, capital contributions, distributions, management fees and other fund-related transactions.
• Perform bank and investment reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of NAV calculations and fund financial reports.
• Maintain investor/shareholder records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with capital call and distribution schedules where applicable.
• Liaise with fund managers, auditors, banks and other service providers.
• Support year-end audit and financial statement preparation for fund clients.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with accounting, audit or outsourced accounting experience will have an advantage.
• Experience in handling full sets of accounts independently.
• Knowledge of Singapore accounting, GST and compliance requirements will be an advantage.
• Fund accounting or fund administration experience will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to manage multiple client portfolios and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently as well as in a team.
