• Set up, adjust, and operate production equipment (e.g., SMT machines, wave soldering, testing equipment) according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor production processes on a daily basis to ensure parameters remain within specified limits.
• Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks to identify deviations or quality issues early.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and process deviations; escalate complex issues to Process Engineers.
• Assist Process Engineers in conducting process trials, capability studies, and validation of new products/processes.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and tools.
• Record and maintain accurate production data, process logs, and machine parameters.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related defects and downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards on the production floor.
• Assist in training production operators on correct machine operation and process procedures.
• Collaborate with QA and Production teams to resolve quality and process-related issues promptly.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Process Technician or in a similar role within an electronics/manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of SMT/PCB assembly processes and production equipment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with basic quality tools (checklists, inspection sheets, SPC charts) is a plus.
• Able to read and interpret work instructions, process flow charts, and technical drawings.
• Basic troubleshooting and hands-on mechanical/electrical skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
• Willing to work in shifts, if required, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Excel/Word for data recording).

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
