Job Description
Responsibilities
Contract Period: From 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027 with an option to extend the Contract for a further period of one year from 1 September 2027 to 31August 2028.
Working hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break.
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services:
- Manage the reception counter and handle phone calls, enquiries and visitors promptly.
- Filing and mailing of letters.
- Attend to deliveries, including ensuring all items received are properly documented and promptly directed to the relevant parties.
- Support sick bay operations and provide basic first aid to students when required.
- Handle lost and found items.
- Handle students leaving school early.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the reception and sick bay areas.
- Ensure sick bay is well-stocked and properly maintained at all times.
- Assist in packing and relocation preparations.
- Perform other administrative or operational duties as assigned by the school.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- GCE “N” Level or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in reception or general administration.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Able to perform basic word processing and data entry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant, approachable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior work experience in a school environment, particularly in a primary school, is an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic first aid is an advantage.
