Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to join a global technology team supporting Android TV / Smart TV platform operations.

This is a backend-oriented Full Stack Developer role, with a strong focus on Java, backend services, REST APIs, SQL, database integration and internal applications. You will also work with Angular and React for frontend development when required.

You will work closely with global engineering, operations and cross-functional teams to develop scalable applications, support partner integrations and improve platform operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services, REST APIs and full-stack applications.
• Build scalable backend solutions using Java.
• Develop database integrations and applications using SQL.
• Develop and maintain frontend components using Angular and React.
• Build internal tools and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Support Android TV / Smart TV partner and device integrations.
• Support device registration, whitelisting and launch-readiness activities.
• Troubleshoot application and platform issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Monitor workflows and resolve application or integration issues.
• Contribute to system improvements, automation and process optimization.
• Work within an Agile and ticket-based environment.
• Collaborate with global teams and communicate technical updates clearly in English.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and React.
• Experience developing web applications and internal tools.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Comfortable working with international and cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Node.js

• Experience with Android TV, Smart TV or OTT platforms.
