About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Infrastructure & Security Engineer (Tier 2) to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will implement and support server, virtualization, storage, backup, network, and security infrastructure for client projects and managed service engagements. You will act as the Tier-2 escalation point for system, network, and security incidents within the delivery team, while also supporting the pre-sales team with technical validation, sizing, and Proof of Concept (PoC) execution when assigned.
Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, migrate and upgrade Windows/Linux servers, virtualisation platforms, storage and backup systems at client sites.
• Implement, migrate and upgrade network and security infrastructure: switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN.
• Act as Tier-2 escalation for system, network and security incidents; lead troubleshooting on major incidents.
• Perform patching, firmware planning, firewall rule reviews and preventive maintenance for managed clients.
• Monitor backup jobs and system health for managed clients; remediate failures.
• Produce low-level designs, implementation plans, test plans and as-built and operational documentation.
• Support pre-sales activities when assigned: solution validation, sizing, capacity planning, proof-of-concept builds and technical write-ups.
• Coach junior engineers and review their configurations before deployment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of combined experience in system and network engineering, including hands-on exposure to firewall or security operations.
