Mayland Group Of Company Hiring! Full Time Inspector of Work (Architectural) in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

• To supervise daily construction activities, ensuring the quality of work and all works carried out/ material used is strictly in accordance with the specification and required standard.
• To keep records daily of all construction activities at the site and to report to superior of any site problem.
• To identify and compile defects on site and report to superior for further action.
• To carry out standing supervision and check that all construction are in compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
• Execute inspection and test as per instruction and test plan and to utilize quality control mechanism as provide for by quality management system.
• Keep accurate site records and ensure it is up-to-date. Review and verify technical submission, shop drawings, RFIs, method statements.
• Coordinate and liaise with various contractors, consultant & authorities on all site related matters.
• To attend all relevant site meeting, technical meeting or other ad-hoc meeting with HQ team, contractors, consultants and authorities.
• Feedback to management on works implementation or rectifications when required.
• Handle and coordinate with contractors on defects works during Defects Liability Period.
• Maintain all relevant forms, documents, correspondence and records about the progress of work.
• To perform ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least certificate/ diploma in Architecture/ Building Construction or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of working experience in supervision of construction and property development especially high rise constructions.
• Ability to interpret drawings and coordinate construction drawings between consultants and contractors.
• Ability to understand the ID works/ setting out/ reporting of work with photo.
• Good in technical knowledge.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage due to frequent interaction with Mandarin-speaking contractors and site personnel.
• Good team player & self-motivated.
