Surveillance Planning Coordinator

Location: Menara Southpoint, Kuala Lumpur
Working Arrangement: On-site / Work in Office, with site visits as required
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Contract Duration: 6 Months (1-month probation + 5-month extension)
Salary: RM2,500 Basic + Mileage Claims + EPF / SOCSO / EIS

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Surveillance Planning Coordinator to support surveillance and security operations across hubs, warehouses, and critical facilities.

This role is suitable for candidates with relevant technical or security-related experience, as well as fresh graduates who are interested in developing a career in CCTV systems, surveillance planning, project coordination, and facility security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments to understand surveillance requirements and coverage.
• Assist in designing CCTV layouts and specifying suitable surveillance equipment.
• Prepare and maintain CCTV layout plans, technical documentation, and project records.
• Coordinate end-to-end CCTV installation projects with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress to ensure installations are completed according to requirements and timelines.
• Conduct routine preventive checks and assist in troubleshooting CCTV and surveillance system issues.
• Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or improvements where required.
• Ensure CCTV footage, equipment, and related assets are properly documented and managed.
• Ensure surveillance operations comply with company SOPs, security protocols, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate with vendors on maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and service requirements.
• Assist in evaluating vendor performance and sourcing suitable surveillance and security solutions.
• Conduct site visits to off-site hubs and facilities when required.

Requirements

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Relevant experience in CCTV, surveillance, security systems, facilities, project coordination, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of IP cameras, NVRs, VMS platforms, and networking is an advantage.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and prepare or interpret CCTV layout plans.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
• Able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Willing to travel to off-site hubs, warehouses, and facilities when required.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
