Job Overview

• Position: Indian Cook / Chef

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic North and/or South Indian dishes (e.g., curries, biryanis, tandoori items, or tiffin items like dosas) with consistent taste and quality.
• Manage daily mise-en-place , spice blending, and ingredient preparation.
• Operate and maintain specialized kitchen equipment safely, including tandoor ovens and dosa hot plates.
• Monitor food stock levels, minimize kitchen waste, and assist with inventory management.
• Maintain strict adherence to local hygiene and food safety standards (such as proper food labeling, storage)
• Support team members during peak hours to ensure timely food service.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of hands-on professional cooking experience in authentic Indian cuisine.
• Deep knowledge of traditional Indian spice profiles, ingredients, and regional cooking techniques.
• Holder of a basic food hygiene or food safety certification.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
