Your Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and culturally aware HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our operations across based in Malaysia. This role will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders across multiple countries, ensuring HR practices align with regional needs and local labor laws. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in labor law, a deep understanding of local cultures, and the ability to work across diverse geographies and teams.


Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR partner for business units, providing guidance and solutions aligned with company goals.
  • Provide support on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and talent management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with local HR teams and COEs (Centers of Excellence) to deliver regional HR initiatives and support global programs.
  • Support recruitment activities, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee lifecycle processes to meet business needs.
  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day HR operations, including employee documentation, HRIS updates, employee movements, and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and employee records are maintained in compliance with local labor laws and internal governance requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with local leadership teams to understand business challenges and identify HR solutions.
  • Use data and HR analytics to identify trends and support business decision-making.
  • Champion a culturally inclusive workplace that aligns with both local expectations and global standards.
  • Lead or participate in HR projects such as employee engagement, change management, process improvement, and organizational initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on people-related matters.


What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification or Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 2–4 years of progressive HR Business Partner.
  • Strong knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Hands-on experience supporting core HR operations processes, including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HR administration, and HRIS maintenance.
  • Experience partnering with managers on employee relations, performance management, and people-related matters.
  • Prior experience in a multi-country regional HR environment is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin is a strong plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and levels.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage both strategic and operational HR responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
