Responsibilities
Description
Test planning and strategy
: Develop test plans, strategies, and cases based on business and non-functional requirements.
Possess hands-on expertise in manual testing, including test case design, execution, defect tracking, and validation within agile environments.
Script development
: Create and maintain automation test scripts
Analysis and reporting
: Analyse test results, identify root causes of issues, and generate detailed reports for stakeholders
Troubleshooting and defect resolution:
Troubleshoot bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams to implement fixes.
Environment and tool setup:
Configure the test environment, manage test data, and use testing tools and software.
Requirements
Expertise in Functional Testing
Good knowledge of JIRA; Xray knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge in Playwright is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with REST API testing
Where required, perform manual testing as needed, including periods where manual testing may be the primary responsibility.
Good to have a solid understanding of e-banking/payments/trading experience
Good to have hands-on experience on the test automation tool chain Cucumber, TestNG, Selenium, Appium
Good understanding of CI CD pipelines and tools like GitLab (preferred), Jenkins etc
Development experience with hands-on experience with Spring Boot or similar is preferred.
Very good understanding of best practices, clean code policies, branching strategies and security scans.
