Hyundai Elevator Malaysia Hiring! Full Time Senior Project Engineer in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

Job Responsibilities:

1. Preparing technical documentation and project submission for new lift /escalator.

• Submission of shop drawing, until get the approvals.
• Submission of finishes, until get the approvals.
• Submission of work program base on the contract requirement, follow up until get approval.
• Request MNL based on the above.

2. Resourcing on the sub-contractors and local supplier.

• Based on contract offer, request sub-contractors /suppliers to make sure all the appointment is done as early as possible.
• In charge to get quotation, negotiation and issue the Purchase Requisition (PR) for local and oversea suppliers.

3. Site supervision process:

• Accountable for delivery of the installation project.
• Responsible for securing efficient management of environmental aspects of the installation (waste handling, hazardous material, minimization of travel).
• Participates to the sales/installation hand-over and validates the term if the order received from customer together with the salesperson.
• Prepare the overall installation program and resource planning according to master program from builder.
• Responsible for planning and organizing the delivery and storage of materials and tools to the site and placing the orders to subcontractor.
• Responsible for site preparation and follow up of site readiness.
• Ensures cost control as per action plans according to sales budgets.
• Collaborates with accounts payable/ controlling to ensure site activities are planned and executed in accordance with the contractual payment terms and actual payments received.
• Accountable for final testing, authority inspection and handover to maintenance.

4. Customer and subcontractor relationship management

• Accountable for customer satisfaction and quality of installation.
• Accountable for sub-contractor quality and safety performance.
• Single point of contract towards the customer during installation regarding site management, responsible for internal and external communication during project on-going.
• Aims at achieving allocated sales targets and add-on sales and variations during installations.
• Develop and maintain a cordial and professional relationship with sub-contractor, customer and main contractor.

Qualifications:

1. 5 years of working experience in New Installation or Modernization project. Preferably in construction, lift industry
2. Degree holder in Mechanical, Electrical or relevant Engineering background. 

Skills / Knowledge:

1. Good communication skills able to multi-task.

2. High integrity with good analytical and problem solving skills.

3. Able to work independently as well as being a team-player with strong commitment to department.

4. Able to supervise and manage Subcontractor at site.
