EcoCeres Hiring! Full Time Market Analysis Manager - Analyst in Kowloon, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor market developments incl. peer updates, regulation changes, price movements, trade flows, technology developments, etc.
• Collaborate closely with other market intelligence team members and the broader EcoCeres organization to validate market information and drive actionable insights
• Manage EcoCeres' comprehensive internal database and continuously identify ways to improve via process automation, enhanced governance, adoption of AI tools, etc.
• Build quantitative models for supply-demand dynamics, regulation fulfillment, price outlook, etc. for regional and global markets
• Continuously enhance reporting frameworks for key data, findings and recommendations
• Effectively communicate with internal teams and senior leadership members to support short-term operational decisions, business development, strategic review, etc.
• Key topics and markets of interest: e-fuels, Biofuels, Carbon markets (Europe and China market)
  
• Provide in-depth market knowledge and robust analysis as inputs to cross-team collective problem-solving
• Lead problem-solving by developing robust frameworks, synthesizing, communications, planning and following through actions, etc.
• Participate in highly strategic discussions incl. new production capacity build-up, new market entry, new product development, feedstock development, etc.
• Perform PMO-related tasks across multiple internal and external projects

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 4-8 years of work experience in market research and/or strategy at reputable third-party market intelligence providers, renewable fuel/energy players or top-tier management consulting firms
• Bachelor's degree or above from a reputable institution, ideally in engineering, science or business
• Strong prior knowledge and network in synthetics fuels, biofuels (SAF, HVO, feedstocks) or carbon markets; prior experience in aviation, renewable energy or oil refining a strong plus
• Open-minded to accept new challenges and adopt new approaches, while maintaining strong curiosity and determination to lead the organization to advance its understanding of this evolving industry
• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience in cross-culture and cross-geography settings
• Occasionally business travel
