Focus

You will work closely with the clients in identifying short- and long-term needs and objectives; craft appropriate strategies and will identify and implement quality solutions to achieve client goals. In addition, you will also be responsible for managing and leading agency resources in order to meet client’s marketing and advertising needs. The successful Account Director will ensure a collaborative working environment is achieved locally and globally between the agency, the client, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary, senior client contact for assigned projects, developing relationships with clients and working closely with them to learn their business and customer experience needs.
• Accountable to the client leads to work towards owner KPI’s and revenue targets.
• Sets expectations on the quality of creative ideas and work within brand guidelines.
• Has a strong understanding of the strategy to creative and production processes.
• Works with Group Account Director to produce client budgets and estimate updates; coordinates estimate for client approval.
• Display hunger and ability to rise to new challenges.
• Leverage and build upon a customer journey plan for owners.
• Demonstrate a strong grasp of business objectives of the client and ways in which McCann Singapore can contribute to both their long and short-term business strategy.
• Be a problem solver, showing ability to resolve issues independently and dig in to solve complex business initiatives.
• Responsible for cultivating a team environment and working collaboratively (with a sense of tenacity) to generate solutions for clients.
• Mentor to junior team members.

Required Skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change.
• Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in an account management role in an agency environment.
• Must be extremely organized, detailed and meticulous.
• Ability to work well under pressure juggling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proactive, self-starter who can work as part of a team primarily and independently when needed.
