We are looking for a hands-on technical person who enjoys electronics, computers, troubleshooting and fixing things.

This is not a sales role, and we are not looking specifically for an AV technician or someone with an engineering degree. We are looking for the kind of person who understands how electronic and computer equipment works, enjoys finding out why something doesn't work, and takes pride in keeping technical equipment in good condition.

You will work with a large technical warehouse containing hundreds of different types of equipment — computers, networking equipment, video systems, audio equipment, wireless systems, cables, converters and many other electronic devices.

If you enjoy working with technology and would rather have a large technical playground than spend every day working on the same few products, this role may suit you.

What you will do

1. Technical Warehouse – Your Main Responsibility

You will be the technical gatekeeper of our equipment warehouse.

• Keep equipment organized, labeled and ready for use.
• Make sure staff correctly check equipment out and return it to the correct location.
• You are not expected to pack and unpack everything for everyone — your job is to make sure the system works and people follow it.
• Check returned equipment for damage or problems.
• Test, troubleshoot, maintain and perform basic repairs on electronic equipment.
• Prepare and configure computers and other technical equipment.
• Identify faulty equipment and decide whether it can be repaired internally or requires external repair.
• Maintain spare parts, adapters, cables, tools and consumables.
• Continuously improve how the warehouse and equipment are organized.

2. Technical & Event Projects

You will also help our technical teams prepare and set up systems for projects and events.

This can include:

• Computers and Windows systems
• LAN/Wi-Fi and networking equipment
• Displays and video equipment
• Audio and communication systems
• Streaming and conferencing equipment
• Cabling, converters and electronic interfaces
• Testing and troubleshooting complete systems before they leave the warehouse
• Occasionally supporting installation and troubleshooting onsite

Previous AV/event experience is NOT required. We can teach you the event-specific equipment. We are more interested in your electronics, IT and troubleshooting ability.

3. Internal IT Support

You will become one of our go-to people for everyday technical problems.

This includes:

• Troubleshooting PCs, peripherals and networks
• Installing and configuring computers and software
• Helping colleagues solve hardware and software problems
• Supporting several of our internal applications
• Investigating problems before escalating them to our software or infrastructure teams

Who we are looking for

Qualifications and certificates are less important to us than practical ability.

You should:

• Be genuinely comfortable with electronics and computers.
• Have practical experience troubleshooting electronic or IT equipment.
• Understand basic networking, Windows PCs, cables, connectors and peripherals.
• Be comfortable opening equipment, testing components and identifying faults.
• Be systematic and organized — particularly when dealing with lots of equipment.
• Enjoy solving unfamiliar technical problems rather than only following instructions.
• Be willing to learn equipment and technologies you haven't worked with before.
• Be responsible enough to enforce warehouse procedures with colleagues.
• Be comfortable doing both hands-on technical work and practical warehouse work.

Experience from an electronics/computer repair shop, IT hardware company, CCTV/security installer, electronics supplier, technical workshop, system integrator or similar environment can be very relevant.

No university degree required. No AV experience required.
