Responsibilities
Senior Contract Executive / Quantity Surveyor
We are looking for a detail-oriented Contract Executive / Quantity Surveyor to join our growing interior fit-out and construction team. You will play an important role in managing project costs, contractual documentation, claims, and coordination from project commencement through final account.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare measurements, take-offs, cost estimates and Bills of Quantities.
Monitor project budgets, costs and cash flow to support effective cost control.
Source, review and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Prepare and maintain project contractual documents, correspondence and supporting records.
Draft contractual letters and submissions for management review.
Prepare and submit progress claims, variation order claims and final accounts to clients.
Track, verify and maintain records of variation orders, including supporting documents and cost impacts.
Attend project meetings and support the Project Person-in-Charge with coordination matters.
Work closely with project, procurement and site teams to ensure timely and accurate commercial reporting.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Experience in quantity surveying, contracts or project costing is preferred; fresh graduates with strong interest are welcome to apply.
Familiarity with interior fit-out works and construction project processes is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Strong numerical, analytical, documentation and negotiation skills.
Well-organised, responsible and able to manage multiple deadlines.
A proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an advantage where needed to communicate with relevant clients, suppliers or subcontractors.
