Role Description This is a full-time, Calibration Technician role based in Melaka. The Calibration Technician is responsible for performing calibration and verification of a variety of test instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures and relevant standards. Daily tasks include setting up and operating laboratory equipment, documenting calibration results, maintaining calibration records, and ensuring equipment is within specified tolerances. The role also involves troubleshooting basic equipment issues, supporting routine laboratory activities, and collaborating with engineers and laboratory personnel to ensure accurate and reliable measurements. The technician is expected to follow safety guidelines, contribute to process improvements, and provide professional support to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, physics, or a related field is beneficial.
• Previous experience in a testing or calibration laboratory environment is an advantage.
