Job Description

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

  1. Responsible for the management and execution of trials for product quality improvement projects in the areas of formulation, process improvements and analytical test procedures where applicable.

  2. To conduct and participate in technical evaluation for the alternative materials sourcing program to ensure material suitability in terms of functional application.

  3. To support manufacturing change of site and smooth transfer of new products from R&D to manufacturing sites.

  4. To assist in analytical development and responsible in testing of samples for the related BI projects.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Execute formulation trials for product quality improvement and alternative / new materials evaluation, reviewing of trial results and update project progress status in a timely manner.

  2. Responsible for technical document preparations required by RA, QA and other relevant departments; to ensure record traceability for the improvement projects’ experiment / test data.

  3. Assist in the functional evaluation of alternative / new material source, including trial batch manufacturing intended for stability study and/or registration purpose.

  4. Participate and assist in the successful manufacturing of pilot batch intended for change of site or variation registration.

  5. Support in coordinating scale-up, technology and method transfer from R&D to production or change of manufacturing site.

  6. Assist in analytical method troubleshooting and carry out testing on samples for the related PQI projects.

  7. Assist in authoring key documentations and reports (design review documents, trial batch review report and trial result summary).

  8. Any other assignments that may arise.

JOB REQUIREMENT

  1. Minimum a recognized bachelor's degree in Life Science discipline; master degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry is an advantage.

  2. 1 - 4 years of experience, relevant pharmaceutical experience is an advantage.
