  • Minimum SPM, Diploma or equivalent qualification. 
  • Experience in telemarketing, telesales, customer service or B2B sales is preferred. 
  • Fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also be considered. 
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily. 
  • Able to communicate confidently with corporate decision-makers. 
  • Good spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage. 
  • Strong communication, listening and persuasion skills. 
  • Able to handle rejection and continue following up consistently. 
  • Target-driven and disciplined in managing daily sales activities. 
  • Good organisational and record-keeping skills. 
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, CRM or sales tracking systems. 
  • Able to work independently while coordinating closely with the sales team. 

Preferred Personality

Confident, persistent, energetic, organised and comfortable speaking with new people. Most importantly, the person should be comfortable asking for the appointment and moving the conversation toward a clear next step, rather than only making courtesy calls.

Responsibilities

The B2B Telemarketer is responsible for reaching out to prospective corporate clients, introducing the company’s services, identifying business opportunities, and securing qualified appointments for the sales team.

The role focuses on outbound calling, lead qualification, appointment setting, follow-up, and pipeline generation. The telemarketer should be comfortable speaking with decision-makers such as HR, Marketing, Procurement, Admin, Event, Sales and Corporate Communication teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential corporate clients from assigned lead lists. 
  • Introduce the company, services and relevant solutions clearly and professionally. 
  • Identify the correct decision-maker and understand the client’s upcoming needs. 
  • Qualify leads based on interest, budget, timeline, requirements and decision-making process. 
  • Set appointments, meetings or presentation opportunities for the sales team. 
  • Follow up on previous enquiries, proposals and inactive leads. 
  • Maintain regular contact with potential clients until there is a clear next action. 
  • Update all calling activities, contact details, notes and follow-up dates accurately in CRM or sales tracking sheets. 
  • Achieve daily and weekly activity targets such as calls made, conversations, qualified leads and appointments secured. 
  • Support sales campaigns by promoting selected services, packages or seasonal programmes. 
  • Work closely with the sales team to improve lead quality and conversion. 
  • Gather market feedback, common objections and competitor information from prospects. 
  • Maintain a professional company image during all client communication.
