Key Responsibilities

1. Raw Material Request & Finished Product Testing

• Request raw materials from store to prepare samples
• Assist with sample preparation for protein, active ingredient, nutritional, microbiological and other analyses.
• Record and report results accurately.

2. Laboratory Equipment

• Operate laboratory instruments such as pH meter, moisture analyzer, refractometer, weighing balance, viscometer and other basic laboratory equipment.
• Perform routine equipment checks and calibration/verifications according to schedule.
• Maintain equipment in clean and serviceable condition.
• Report equipment malfunction or damage promptly.

3. R&D Assistance

• Assist the R&D team with product trials, formulation preparation and stability samples.
• Prepare samples according to formulation instructions.
• Perform sensory evaluation and visual evaluation for the samples to assist in product specification and COA preparation.
• Record processing parameters and observations during laboratory/pilot trials.
• Assist with extraction, homogenization, drying and other product-development trials where required.

Qualification

• Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Laboratory Science or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory testing, food safety and laboratory procedures.
• Familiar with basic laboratory equipment and analytical techniques is an advantage.
• Able to work carefully and accurately with good record-keeping skills.
• Willing to work in a laboratory and support product trials and testing activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
