Key Responsibilities
Positive Discipline Advocacy:
Act as a strong advocate for the school’s positive discipline framework, cultivating healthy behavior and mutual respect among students.
School Patrolling & Student Engagement:
Patrol the school compound (including classroom blocks, toilets, and special rooms) to maintain a positive school tone. Actively engage with the general student body and build rapport with identified at-risk youth.
Discipline Investigations:
Support the Student Discipline Unit in investigating serious disciplinary offences and liaising or engaging with parents/guardians when necessary.
Intervention Programme Support:
Assist in executing student intervention initiatives, including managing In-House Suspensions, Detention Classes, and facilitating coordination for at-risk student counselling.
Community Checks:
Conduct routine checks within the school premises and nearby external areas (such as neighborhood void decks) to ensure students are safe and not participating in unauthorized or improper activities.
Administrative Duties:
Assist the Student Discipline Unit in the meticulous upkeep, filing, and digitisation of both print and soft-copy disciplinary records.

Contract Period:
1 Jan 2027 to 15 Nov 2027 (9.5-Month Contract;
Note: Service is not required during the month of June, or the last 2 weeks of November through December
). Includes an option to extend for a further 9.5 months in 2028.
Working Schedule:
Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Includes a 1-hour lunch break)Fridays: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Includes a 1-hour lunch break)
Note: No weekend or Public Holiday deployments required.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum
GCE O-Level Certificate
(or equivalent),
OR
a minimum of
5 years of working experience
in a similar school/youth management role.
Direct prior experience in
disciplinary management
, student behavior management, or law enforcement/security frameworks within a school environment is highly advantageous.
Core Skills & Competencies
Interpersonal Skills:
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to de-escalate situations and communicate effectively with adolescents, parents, and school leaders.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in
Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel), Email systems, and
Google Tools
for logging and tracking administrative student data.
Personal Traits:
Highly organized, meticulous, and capable of multi-tasking under fast-paced operational conditions. Must be a collaborative team player.
