Job Summary

Support the Accounts Manager by preparing financial statements, reconciling ecommerce accounts, assisting with GST preparation, and ensuring timely completion of accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile ecommerce accounts to ensure accurate financial data and resolve discrepancies
• Assist the Accounts Manager in preparing full sets of accounts and financial statements for reporting and compliance
• Prepare GST documentation to support tax submissions and regulatory requirements
• Compile and prepare reports required by auditors to facilitate audit processes
• Manage accounting deadlines to ensure timely submission of financial information
• Perform ad-hoc and general administrative duties to support the accounting team’s operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Background or Diploma in Accountancy to support accounting tasks and financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to meet objectives
• Strong time management skills to consistently meet deadlines
• Responsible work ethic and positive attitude to maintain productivity and accuracy

Other Information

• Work schedule: 5 days a week, 8am to 5.45pm
