Requirements

Must Know Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience managing Change Requests (CR), new releases, and production hotfixes
  • Proven track record of managing production deployments without service disruption
  • Experience handling emergency changes and expedited release approvals
  • Familiarity with API integrations and batch processing
  • Strong understanding of production vs staging environments
  • Experience managing Severity 1 / Critical incidents & ability to perform structured impact assessment (technical, operational, financial)
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
  • Strong documentation discipline (change logs, release notes, audit trail)
  • Knowledge of rollback planning and mitigation strategy
  • High accountability and ownership mindset

Preferable Skill / Knowledge:

  • Experience in cross-border remittance / money transfer platforms
  • Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar ticketing tools
  • Ability to read API documentation and understand payload structure
  • SQL knowledge for basic transaction validation queries
  • Experience working closely with DevOps teams

Responsibilities

Change Management Specialist responsible for reviewing and validating change requests, conducting impact and risk assessments, governing release scheduling and production deployments, ensuring end-to-end testing and stakeholder sign-off, managing post-deployment stability and hypercare, and maintaining audit trails and rollback/incident procedures in collaboration with Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams. Change Request, Log Analysis, SQL.

Responsibilities:

  • 1. Review, assess, and validate Change Requests (CRs) prior to development approval.
  • 2. Conduct detailed impact analysis (technical, financial, operational, compliance).
  • 3. Ensure proper UAT, regression testing, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • 4. Govern release scheduling and production deployment and monitor post-deployment performance and stability.
  • 5. Maintain complete audit trail and documentation for compliance purposes.
  • 6. Conduct feasibility and risk assessment in collaboration with Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams.
  • 7. Define go-live readiness criteria and deployment checklist.
  • 8. Ensure end-to-end testing (SIT, UAT, financial validation).
  • 9. Manage hypercare period post-launch to ensure transaction stability.
  • 10. Mitigate financial exposure and operational risks before go-live.
  • 11. Classify and prioritize production issues (Critical/High/Medium/Low).
  • 12. Lead hotfix approval process and expedited change governance when required.
  • 13. Ensure rollback plans and emergency release documentation are in place.
  • 14. Oversee Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventive action planning.
  • 15. Monitor recurring defect trends and drive long-term remediation.
