Position Title: Mechanical Lead (Data Centers)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and delivery of large-scale data centre projects.
- Serve as the technical authority for cooling infrastructure, including liquid cooling systems for high-performance computing and AI workloads.
- Develop and review mechanical system designs, specifications, calculations, and engineering standards.
- Coordinate with electrical, structural, architectural, and operations teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Drive innovation in cooling technologies, thermal management, and energy-efficient infrastructure solutions.
- Support project planning, equipment selection, vendor evaluation, and technical procurement activities.
- Provide engineering oversight during construction, testing, commissioning, and operational handover.
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project performance and reliability.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging cooling technologies, and evolving data centre best practices.
- Mentor and develop engineering team members while fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience designing and delivering mission-critical facilities, preferably within data centres or similar infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of cooling systems including chilled water, heat rejection, HVAC, CRAH/CRAC systems, and liquid cooling technologies.
- Experience supporting high-density computing environments and advanced thermal management solutions.
- Understanding of data centre design standards, commissioning processes, and operational requirements.
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage multiple stakeholders across complex projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
