Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead aircraft materials management, component repair operations, inventory planning, and supplier performance management. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of aircraft spares and components to support fleet operations, line and base maintenance activities, while optimizing inventory levels, repair costs, and supplier performance.
The successful candidate will work closely with Scoot Engineering Operations, Scoot Maintenance Planning, SIA, Airbus TSP, OEMs, and repair service providers to support fleet reliability, operational readiness, and cost-effective supply chain management.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead material forecasting and inventory planning activities to support fleet operations and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of aircraft spares and components to support line maintenance, base maintenance, and AOG recovery.
- Manage component and wheel repair activities, including repair orders, cost reviews, and turnaround time monitoring.
- Review and manage unserviceable component disposition, including repair, exchange, salvage, and scrap activities.
- Monitor and manage PBH/FHS programs and supplier performance against contractual service levels and operational OKRs.
- Source and develop suppliers for aircraft spares and repair services to support operational requirements.
- Conduct regular inventory reviews and identify opportunities to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
- Work closely with Engineering Operation, Maintenance Planning, and suppliers to support operational requirements.
- Support fleet modification programs, hangar checks, aircraft inductions, and lease transition requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in materials management, repair management, and supply chain processes.

Experience supporting aircraft fleets such as Airbus A320 family, Boeing 787, Embraer E190, or similar commercial aircraft will be an added advantage.
