Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee General Ledger (GL) activities, including month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare and review full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, bank reconciliation and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reports and schedules.
• Review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions and account reconciliations.
• Monitor and ensure accuracy of balance sheet and profit & loss accounts.
• Assist in preparing financial analysis, variance analysis and reporting for management.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties, including auditors, tax agents and company secretarial representatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and other finance-related projects when required.
• Supervise and guide finance team members in daily accounting operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, MIA or equivalent would be an advantage.
• At least 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with experience in a supervisory/Assistant Manager capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience in GL and full set of accounts.
• Able to independently manage month-end and year-end closing.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities:-

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
