Halton is looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Production Technician (Machine) to support our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with machinery, solving technical challenges, and contributing to continuous improvement in a production environment.
As part of our Production team, you will assist in machine operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and productivity improvement initiatives while ensuring a safe and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of machine operations and maintenance.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
Knowledge of workplace safety practices and proper use of PPE.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work overtime when required.
Added Advantages
Experience operating Press Brake Bending or Turret Punch machines.
Familiarity with CNC machines and automated manufacturing systems.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and manufacturing automation.
Basic programming knowledge.
Exposure to robotic systems and industrial automation.

As part of our Production team, you will assist in machine operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and productivity improvement initiatives while ensuring a safe and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute production orders according to production schedules and work instructions.
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of production machinery.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure optimal efficiency and output.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical and operational issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure good housekeeping practices and maintain 6S standards.
- Maintain tooling and equipment used in the production line.
- Develop and maintain TPM checklists and machine/power tool SOPs.
- Report machine breakdowns promptly and recommend preventive actions.
- Adhere to all company safety requirements, procedures, and policies.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
