HCLTech Hiring! Full Time Test Engineer in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

We are looking for a Test Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing to support multiple consumer servicing platforms. This role requires a proactive, self-driven individual who can work independently across projects while collaborating closely with business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing across web and mobile applications.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts for regression and smoke testing.
• Identify automation opportunities and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Manage defects throughout the lifecycle and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Support UAT, release readiness activities, test environment management, and quality reporting.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Requirements:

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
• Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, RestAssured, or similar.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple systems and projects.

Nice to Have

• Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services experience.
• Experience with consumer-facing platforms, CRM, or contact centre solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Performance testing experience (JMeter, k6).
• Basic programming/scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, Java).
• ISTQB certification.
