Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Site Coordinator to coordinate and monitor daily site activities for IT Infrastructure and Structured Cabling projects. The role will work closely with Project Managers, site technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to ensure project activities are carried out smoothly, safely, and according to the project schedule and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily site activities for IT Infrastructure, Structured Cabling, and ELV projects.
• Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth implementation of project works.
• Monitor site progress and ensure installation activities are carried out according to the approved project schedule, drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Coordinate manpower deployment, work schedules, materials, tools, and equipment required for site activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, workmanship, and site conditions.
• Coordinate installation works involving data points, UTP cabling, fibre optic cabling, network racks, patch panels, cable management, CCTV, access control, and other ELV systems.
• Liaise with customers and relevant parties regarding site access, work schedules, installation requirements, and project progress.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure their work is carried out according to project requirements and agreed timelines.
• Identify and report site issues, delays, material shortages, technical concerns, and other project constraints to the Project Manager.
• Follow up on rectification works, outstanding issues, and defects to ensure timely completion.
• Check incoming materials and equipment delivered to site and coordinate proper storage and distribution.
• Ensure site activities comply with company procedures, safety requirements, customer requirements, and project specifications.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure the work area is organized and safe.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, attendance/manpower records, checklists, and other required documentation.
• Assist in coordinating testing, commissioning, documentation, and project handover activities.
• Take site measurements and provide relevant information required for project documentation and as-built drawings.
• Review and understand basic project drawings, floor plans, cable routes, and installation layouts.
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage for reviewing drawings, layouts, cable routes, and as-built documentation.
• Maintain good communication and working relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, technicians, and internal teams.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in site coordination, structured cabling, IT infrastructure, telecommunications, ELV, or related projects.
• Experience in coordinating technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and site activities.
• Basic knowledge of structured cabling and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with UTP/fibre optic cabling, data points, network racks, patch panels, cable trays, and cable management will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, public address, or other ELV systems will be an added advantage.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, floor plans, and project layouts.
• AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate multiple site activities.
• Willing to travel to project sites and work at construction/project sites when required.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport will be an added advantage.
