KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and oversee
Oil & Gas piping installation and mechanical works
from planning through project completion.
Lead site teams, supervisors, technicians, welders, subcontractors and suppliers.
Plan manpower, materials, equipment and daily site activities.
Coordinate piping fabrication, erection, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
Review drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs and project requirements.
Coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress, productivity, cost and schedule.
Prepare progress reports, work schedules and project documentation.
Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely delivery to site.
Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements and safety procedures.
Coordinate inspection, testing and documentation for completed works.
Identify site issues and implement corrective actions.
Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to management.
Ensure projects are completed safely, within budget, on schedule and to the required quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma/Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or related discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience
in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, process plant or industrial construction projects.
Strong experience in
piping installation, mechanical works, fabrication and site execution
.
Experience in piping erection, welding, hydrotesting, flushing and commissioning is preferred.
Ability to read and understand
P&IDs, isometric drawings and mechanical/piping drawings
.
Good knowledge of project planning, manpower management and site coordination.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Able to manage subcontractors and multiple site activities.
Singapore Oil & Gas / process plant experience will be an advantage.
Relevant Singapore safety/project certifications will be an advantage.
