Job Summary
You will operate refuse trucks to collect and transport waste safely, support ground crew operations, and ensure compliance with safety and traffic regulations.
Responsibilities
Operate assigned refuse trucks to complete scheduled waste collection routes across designated locations
Transport waste materials safely to disposal or incineration facilities
Load, unload, and handle waste containers efficiently while following safety procedures
Assist ground operations and support crew duties as needed
Perform basic vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance of trucks
Follow all safety and traffic regulations consistently during operations
Communicate and coordinate with managers and operations teams to complete assignments effectively
Required competencies and certifications
Hold a valid Singapore Class 4 driving licence
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Demonstrate 2-3 years of experience in heavy vehicle driving or waste collection operations
Navigate Singapore roads effectively using GPS technology
Possess the ability to perform outdoor operational duties including loading and unloading waste materials
Maintain alertness and focus during extended driving hours
Hold a WSQ certificate (PI-WM-106E-1) as an advantage
