As a SAS Developer, you will play a critical role in supporting production systems, troubleshooting incidents, and enhancing SAS applications and integrations. You will leverage your expertise in SAS, SQL, and supporting technologies to ensure stability, accuracy, and reliability across enterprise data and analytics environments.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Production Troubleshooting & Fixes

• Investigate and resolve production incidents by reading logs, tracing code, running diagnostic SQL queries, and reproducing issues.
• Debug and patch SAS 9.4 scripts, Python scripts, and Node.js applications when incidents trace back to code or job failures.
• Write and run SQL queries (MSSQL/PostgreSQL) to diagnose data issues, locate root causes, and validate fixes.
• Generate and write code for new scope as required.

Application & Integration Support

• Troubleshoot, enhance, and develop SAS Visual Investigator, SAS Visual Analytics, Enterprise Guide, and SAS Viya jobs.
• Manage defects, including investigation, fixes, and validation.
• Liaise with SAS Technical Support to resolve complex issues.

Stakeholder & Change Management

• Manage senior stakeholder interactions across technical and business teams.
• Assess change requests and provide effort estimations.

Experience

• You have hands‑on experience with SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya environments.
• You have worked with SQL databases (MSSQL/PostgreSQL) for diagnostics and validation.
• You have experience troubleshooting across SAS applications, Python, and Node.js.

Technical Expertise

• You have strong skills in SAS Visual Investigator, SAS Visual Analytics, and Enterprise Guide.
• You are proficient in SQL for data diagnosis and reconciliation.
• You can debug and patch scripts across SAS, Python, and Node.js.

• You demonstrate strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
