Job Description
The Therapy Assistant supports Therapists in deliveringtherapy services and assists with the Centre's daily operations andadministrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Therapists in assessing clients' suitability for therapy.
Prepare clients, equipment, and materials for therapy sessions.
Monitor and record clients' vital signs as instructed.
Assist in implementing individual and group therapy programmes.
Carry out therapy procedures under the guidance of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
Observe and report clients' progress to Therapists.
Maintain infection control, cleanliness, and safety of therapy areas.
Assist clients with toileting when required.
Maintain client records, monitor attendance, and conduct follow-up calls.
Perform administrative duties, maintain inventories, and update activity records.
Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma in Healthcare Management or a related discipline.
Certificate in Therapy Services and/or WSQ Certification in Therapy Support is an advantage.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Ability to communicate in a second language is an advantage. Proficiency in local dialects is beneficial for communicating with elderly clients who are more comfortable conversing in dialects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Passionate about supporting the care and well-being of seniors.

Salary commensurate with experience.
